See where your time is going, so you can build routines that support who you are, regardless of whether your stepkids are home
GET AN HONEST VIEW OF YOUR LIFE, discover why you don't feel like yourself anymore, AND FIND TIME FOR WHo you really are.
A PEACEFUL ROUTINE IS SO MUCH CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!
LET'S DO THIS
let's do this!
I WANT MINE
YOU ARE willing to be honest with yourself (and me!) about your life
You feel like your calendar or schedule is, at least in part, out of your control
YOU ARE A STEPMOM WHO HAS HER STEPKIDS IN HER HOME ANY AMOUNT OF TIME
YOU FEEL LIKE YOU LIVE TWO DIFFERENT LIVES, DEPENDING ON WHEN YOUR STEP KIDS ARE THERE
YOU just aren't in a place where you can face the facts (and that's okay!)
You FEEL 100% AGENCY OVER HOW YOU SPEND YOUR TIME, AND IT FEELS PEACEFUL
YOU ARE NOT IN ANY KIND OF BLENDED FAMILY SITUATION
YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'VE GOT YOUR CALENDAR, HABITS, AND ROUTINES LOCKED DOWN, NO MATTER WHAT!
I'm Lindsay. Catholic Christian, corporate leader, coach, step mom, mom, and certified crazy horse girl!
Once upon a time,, I was a new step mom. I had fallen in love with two little girls, just as I fell in love with their father.
When we became a family, I was adjusting to life with kids, while also trying to maintain the rest of my life. The one week on, one week off, cadence of step-parenting left me feeling like I was living two entirely different lives.
I lost my sense of identity, and I felt really lonely - nobody could really tell me what being a stepmom was supposed to mean, and no one in my life really understood what I was going through.
God taught me that He didn't create me to be two different people, and He showed me how to build ONE life that fit whether my step kids were around or not.
Now, I don't dread transition days, I feel at home in my home, and I have a really great relationship with my step kids (who are NOT. source of tension in my marriage!!).
It's my mission to support other step mama's in doing the same! I can't wait for you to feel calm and in control and not crazy, again!
From my heart to yours,
Lindsay
